The rustic house was built in 1940 and has been fully renovated inside in 2022 in a thoughtful and elegant design to complement the picturesque view of Jegenye tér. Natural light comes through the large windows, making both the living room and the bedrooms bathing in sunlight throughout the day. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dining area of 6 where you can prepare delicious breakfast and dinner for your loved ones, setting the stage for any event to be memorable. Relax in the 3 comfortable bedrooms, one with a large king-size (180cm wide) bed, one with a large queen-size (160cm wide) bed, and one with two single beds, which allow you to rest after an exciting day of activities, adventures and beach. Sit down on one of the outdoor decks to enjoy your breakfast with the sunrise and fresh air, breath in the sun while relaxing or working in the greenery background during the day and grab the BBQ in the evening to finish the day with a delicious family meal. Retreat from the outdoors to the single-storey house to have a fun movie night or play with board games together with the kids. This cozy family house is 1 minute walk from the free public beach of Jegenye tér. The house is located in Zamárdi-felső, close to markets, restaurants and wineries. In case you need a bigger city for shopping and nightlife, Siófok is just a 10 mins drive. You are surrounded by anything you need or want: - Beach: 50m - Grocery shop: 300m - Restaurant: 300m - Szent Kristóf Wine Cellar: 2km - Train station: 500m - Gas station: 500m - City Center Zamárdi: 2km - City Center Siófok: 7km Free parking is in the garden Jegenye Cottage is a one-hour drive from Budapest (100km) on M7 highway. You can take the train from South Train Station or the bus from Kelenföld and travel directly to Zamárdi-felső station from Budapest. Use the train and local bus to get to Siófok, Szántód or any nearby villages. Bicycles can be rented just a couple of streets away from the house. ➤HEALTH & SAFETY Health&safety and the well-being of our guests is very important to us, therefore we use a thorough cleaning and sanitization process after each check-out. ➤NON SMOKING PROPERTY Please note Jegenye Cottage is a non-smoking property. Smoking any kind of cigarettes, including vape and incense is NOT ALLOWED inside or outside of the house including the yard and decks. Violation of this rule incures a 500 EUR fine.
